This was parked on my street today.
I’m all for people doing whatever they want to their cars that makes them happy, but

When people leave their Dairy Queen cups on the parking lot and you don’t want to get you Camaro’s undercarriage all sticky.

It’s lowered too...

On the bright side, I’ll bet oil changes are a breeze.

I didn’t choose the donk life. The donk life chose me

It looks like a hot wheels.

NOPE!
![]() 06/06/2016 at 15:18 |

Yeah, Hot Wheels seems to love donking cars.

That’s Disgusting

Every new car is a donk, with huge-ass rims that are just not needed.

Bentley donkinental gt.

I can’t gauge people who drive donks... do they do their own car maintenance?
I mean, yes, once could easily climb under the car to do an oil change, but they also went out of their way to produce a DONK, so what gives them credible wrenching powers?

I agree completely, anything larger than nessisary to clear brakes looks dumb.

They’re like stance kids, lacking in common sense and taste, not mechanical ability.

if they like it, let them be happy and enjoy fruits of their labor.
I’m talking about mechanical ability and understanding of physics.... but whatever. I ain’t fashion or physics police

Yep properly sized wheels, was mostly a jab at zero Germans and all their factory 19 and 20 inch wheels
![]() 06/06/2016 at 15:50 |

I will admit to preferring larger wheels given that they don’t look too large for the vehicle.
These are okay.

Ya know, I can get behind donking (?) what seem to be appropriate cars. Kind of like lowriders, it’s a cultural thing. But an f-body does not seem like an appropriate choice.

Yeah there is definitely some grey area that depends a lot on the platform and personal taste. That said the wheel to tire ratio I’ve got on the FR-S is just about perfect in my mind.
![]() 06/06/2016 at 16:20 |

That was kind of my thinking as well, like If I see a donked out classic it’s somewhat expected but this is not.

At least the Germans have the decency to cram giant brake rotors under the wheels. Nothing worse than 20" rims with 10" rotors behind them.

Or worse yet, DRUMS!!

This seems like a suitable base for a hi-riser, IMHO.
Technically a donk is an early-70s Impala.

It makes me wonder what you think of my car...
![]() 06/06/2016 at 18:27 |

You should paint those wheels white :)
They are too big though, unless it’s an ST or RS. Yeah I know the performance models need more tire and they need bigger brakes, but the non-ST/RS Focus (SE, Ti, etc) is perfectly fine with 14 or 15-inch rims

But what if it's an auto V6?

I could still find better uses for it. But like I said, just seems like an odd choice for this, not saying it shouldn’t have been done.
